GUEST SPEAKERS: Raina Sharma, Account Manager - Business Development

Raina’s career includes over eight years in retail and commercial banking. She joined BDC in 2005 in the
role of Commercial Account/Lending Manager. Her responsibilities include financing transactions related to
Real Estate, Equipment and Working Capital to SME’s. Prior to joining BDC, Raina worked in retail
banking with Scotiabank. She also sits on the Board of Indo Canada Ottawa Business Chamber and is a
volunteer Loan Review Committee member for CYBF (Community Youth Business Foundation) and ICA
(India Canada Association).

Catherine Leteinturier Guissé, Account Manager - Business Development

Catherine has been a commercial banker at BDC for the past five years. She has extensive banking
experience in Ottawa as well as in Montreal where she has worked for various banks. Catherine is very
involved with the Ottawa Community Loan Fund, a microcredit organization that helps people start their
business with loans of maximum $15,000.
